Following the acquisition of UniBoard in July last year, EBB will be further committed to expansion and investment in the area following the opening of a sales office in Belfast. The new sales operation will primarily support local commercial print businesses while UniBoard, along with EBB Board, will continue to look after cartonboard and packaging sales.
The new venture will be supported by stock from the recently commissioned UniBoard warehouse and logistics facility near Dublin. This new facility doubles the original UniBoard stock capacity with a capability of storing 11,000 pallets of paper and board. UniBoard moved in to the new facility in February and will be fully operational by the end of March.
“EBB is committed to growing its footprint and expanding sales in Ireland. We have a fantastic business in UniBoard and we are looking to further enhance the offering by stocking paper products for the commercial print market,” said Chris Sandwell – Sales and Marketing Director.
