Durham Box has recently worked with long-standing customer, Northumbrian Gifts, to develop stand-out packaging for 3 x 500ml bottled beer products. The family-run business based in Ashington, which offers a wide range of authentic, high-quality items from the local area, including beer, wine, cider, spirits and local produce, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
The design, which features a wrap-around historical map and imagery of the locality, including the iconic Sycamore Gap, was made from E-flute corrugated and digitally printed on their EFI Nozomi C18000 digital press. Including a tuck-in top closure, the design choice not only highlights the technical capabilities of the digital press, but also aligns with Northumbrian Gifts’ sustainability goals, being fully recyclable.
