DS Smith has announced the appointment of James Kenward (pictured left) as Business Development Lead for Recycling in the UK. Reporting to Dan Prosser, UK Business Development & Fibre Procurement Director, he will be responsible for sourcing fibre for DS Smith’s recycling operations across the UK.
With over 10 years’ experience in the sector, Kenward joins the Business Development team after spending 4 years as a Commercial Manager at DS Smith where he focused on providing recycling solutions to the print industry. He was recognised in Letsrecycle’s ’35-under-35′ awards programme, making the shortlist in 2019 and is also a fully chartered waste manager.
Commenting on his new role, Kenward said, “I am excited to join the Business Development team at a time when recycling has never been so high up on the agenda for both consumers and organisations. I look forward to working with business and local authorities to drive circular economy principles.”
