DS Smith has received two awards at the ‘Prize Pack 2021’ competition in Bulgaria, held on 20th October.
For the fourth year in a row, DS Smith Bulgaria has been recognised as a true sustainable and innovative leader in the packaging industry. Prize Pack is the annual Bulgarian competition for best innovative packaging for the food industry organised by Food Industry Cooperative Magazine.
The criteria of the competition were: innovation, high performance, functionality, safe storage and transportation through the whole supply chain, attractiveness, user-friendly, recyclability. The awards ceremony was held during the annual conference “Trends in Food and Beverage Packaging – Safety, Quality, Ecology, and Regulatory Framework”.
The packaging designs presented by DS Smith focused on plastic replacement, 100% recycled materials and 100% recyclable solutions.
