Corrugated Synergies International, based in Renton, Washington, has announced the launch of Visual Impact Preprint, LLC (VIP), a trade only supplier specializing in short to medium production of preprinted corrugated sheets for consumer, industrial, club store and display solutions. The new company in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, is scheduled to start up in July.
VIP’s new EFI Nozomi C18000 single pass digital press will produce lithographic-like quality print at production speeds of 246 linear feet per minute and an operating width of 71 inches. VIP also has a Zund cutting system and additional diecutting equipment.
The company plans to invest more than $8 million in infrastructure, production equipment and renovation and employ 40 people.
CSI is a leader in the corrugated sheet feeding market and operates 12 sheet feeder operations. The company’s success over the past 35 years is due to a consistent approach of continuous improvement and process control, according to President and CEO John Perullo.
