C&T’s new Matrix packaging, launched at drupa earlier this year, is produced using recycled board and upgraded, stronger material that can be recycled again after use. The design boasts stylish, clean, modern graphics embracing the world-renowned C&T Matrix and colour coding to aid selection.
The packaging covers a wide range of Matrix brands, such as XTC, Kiss, Pink, Rapido, Duroprint, Corrugate, and Jazz, recognised in the global marketplace. The new packaging is now in place, and in addition, all matrix lengths will be standardised to 750mm.
Brands will be easy to identify using a product-specific colour at the end of the box, and the new packaging will display special matrix profiles on the sides. This will help operators choose, store and understand the comprehensive range of matrix profiles available from C&T Matrix. These special profiles have been designed to provide the box makers’ with more options when tackling challenging die-making box designs and recycled substrates and include profiles for solid board and paper, such as Off-centre, Mini, Multi, Reverse crease, as well special profiles for the corrugated box producer such as Internal chamfer, U bend and Anvil crease.
Simon Shenton, Managing Director at C&T Matrix, says, “The new packaging is both sustainable and eye-catching, helping customers to identify better and understand our comprehensive Matrix ranges, which cater for all packaging segments, including commercial print, folding cartons, corrugated, and challenging substrates, including recycled fibres.”
