CorrBoard UK is celebrating after securing ISO 45001 certification. Having already received ISO 19001 and ISO 14001, this provides the business with the Integrated Standard.
Having reviewed its processes and procedures back in 2022, the business put in place a three-year strategy with an emphasis on quality, service and sustainability. Within this, the organisation embedded health, safety and welfare into the heart of the company, ensuring it underpinned all activity and operations throughout the site.
Subsequently, implementing new ways of working, measurements and incentives for continuous improvement, the team have delivered this target 12-months ahead of target.
Rob Burgin, Managing Director, comments, “When we started to look at our ISO certifications, and in particular what we would need to do to secure the Integrated Standard, we put a three-year strategy in place. We were under no illusion that to achieve this would require a huge amount of time and effort. What’s more, our team would have to redirect this resource while maintaining service levels for our customers. Having achieved the Integrated Standard in just two-years is an incredible achievement and I want to thank everyone that was involved. Once again, it is testament to the culture we have at CorrBoard and the willingness of our colleagues to work hard to meet with our ambitions we have set to become the UK’s leading independent sheet feeder.”
