Kent, UK-based paper and cartonboard supplier, Chapelton, has confirmed that it is now distributing Smurfit Kappa’s Graphic Board products range, produced at its Wrexen mill in central Germany. The product range includes an uncoated Greyboard, white lined, Kraftboard and black lined. With an extensive versatility, the products are suitable for a wide variety of print applications, including luxury packaging and displays.
Benefitting from small order and partial load ordering, the products can also be cut-to-size, and can also have tailor-made packaging and deliveries available if required. Call-off stocks from the mill are also available, along with humidity adjustments as and when needed. The products will all be available for distribution through Chapelton in a wide range of weights and sizes.
The Graphic Board ranges are all produced at Smurfit Kappa’s Wrexen mill using Fourdrinier production methods, with recycled paper being used as their raw material content. The Wrexen board mill was the subject of a significant €3 million investment by Smurfit Kappa in 2015 and has a production output of 80,000 tonnes paperboard and some 230,000 tonnes of corrugated paper per annum.
