DIC Corporation has confirmed that effective January 1, 2023, consolidated subsidiary Guangdong TOD New Materials Co., Ltd., headquartered in Guangdong Province in the People’s Republic of China (PRC), has changed its name to Guangdong DIC TOD Resins Co., Ltd.
Acquired by wholly owned subsidiary DIC (China) Co., Ltd., in July 2022 with the aim of expanding the DIC Group’s coating resins business in the PRC, Guangdong DIC TOD Resins, now a consolidated subsidiary of DIC, is engaged in the manufacture and sale of coating resins for the Chinese market. By changing its name, the company seeks to strengthen its identity as a member of the DIC Group, as well as to realize greater synergies with other Group companies.
