Cepac relocates Woodhill Printers

UK based Cepac has relocated its speciality Woodhill Printers business from the existing premises in Alfreton, Derbyshire to its recently-expanded site at Rawcliffe Bridge. This move will enable the enhancement and expansion of Cepac’s offering to the Dangerous Goods sector in particular.

The Woodhill Printers business was acquired by Cepac in September 2015 and has been operating as a satellite plant, integrated to Rawcliffe Bridge under one management team, since the acquisition. The business is well established in the Chemicals and Combustibles sectors over a number of years, producing a wide range of U.N. Approved products. The relocation of personnel, combined with the continuity of management, will ensure a seamless transition of work to Rawcliffe Bridge. All members of the Woodhill Printers workforce have been offered relocation to Rawcliffe Bridge.

Richard Moore, General Manager, commented, “While it is always regrettable to take a decision to move manufacture, this has been done for the right and very positive reasons to enable and underpin expansion and future investment, which was regrettably not possible at the Alfreton site. Continuity is key and we have achieved this via skills and knowledge transfer. This is a very exciting time for Cepac Rawcliffe Bridge as we complete our expansion to enable increased capacity and capability.”
