Cases24 orders another Latitude

Midlands, UK-based Cases24 has placed an order for the latest generation Latitude PP1025 three colour casemaker, with Dücker pre-feeder and load former. The Latitude project has been handled by UK and Ireland agent, GTS (Europe) Ltd. Cases24, a trade only case supplier, operates out of Board24’s Coalville site offering trade customers across the UK high volume glued cases in a variety of specifications.

The new casemaker will complement the existing three Latitude casemakers already on site and will be installed in Q3 2018. This announcement comes just three months after a £600k investment to install a new material handling line, designed to facilitate the introduction of this fourth casemaker.

The continued growth of Cases24 has been recognised with the appointment of Alex Morris as Managing Director. Morris has been at Coalville since 2009, most recently as Board24 Sales and Marketing Director. Responsible for operations, commercials and sales, he will bring increased focus and support, as he leads the team through this exciting phase in it’s development. He comments; “This latest investment, driven by customer demand and market growth will allow us to offer enhanced print and die cut capability coupled with excellent lead time consistency throughout peak demand. It will reinforce our position as a leading trade supplier of cases in the UK. This will underpin our offering by increasing capacity and reducing lead times, especially during peak demand. With an installation of September, this will be ready for our customers during the busiest time of year in 2018 Q4.”

“We are delighted to be working with Cases24 for the supply of their fourth Latitude casemaker,” says David Williams, Managing Director, GTS (Europe) Ltd. “This is a robust, high-tech machine that offers an excellent ROI; it offers high productivity at a very competitive cost, both in terms of capital cost and overall cost of ownership. Having four machines in the same plant, side by side, is testament to the quality of the machine build.”
