Case Paper recently announced the purchase of a MarquipWardUnited dual-rotary sheeter for its Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, plant. Able to sheet up to two rolls at a time, the new sheeter will provide custom-sized sheets of both paper and paperboard.
This is the company’s tenth converting equipment purchase over the past seven years. The latest acquisition will utilize one of the most advanced sheeter knifes in the world, Case Paper reports. And with a three-pocket slitting system and series of pulsed air jets, the sheeter will offer enhanced reliability at higher running speeds. Moreover, side and lateral jogging will give operators superior stacking abilities.
“Supported by a skilled workforce and a solutions-based management team, our latest purchase will enhance our ability to significantly increase the output of paperboard for our customers,” said Robin Schaffer, President and CEO of Case Paper.
