Cartonplus Packaging has confirmed it has acquired a new facility, located in Villaverde del Río, 25 km from Seville.
With this new 13,000 sqm facility, production capacity will be considerably increased, creating new corrugated packaging capacity for both agricultural and industrial markets. The new site benefits from eight loading and unloading docks.
“With the increase in plant, we will be able to access larger customers, not only in the fruit and vegetable sector, but also in the meat, pharmaceutical and other sectors. In addition, it will allow us to create jobs related to commercial activity,” said the company in a statement. “The strategic location of the facilities is also an important factor in accessing the area of Huelva, Cádiz and Extremadura more easily due to their proximity and good land connections. In addition, we will take na important step for our customers and suppliers as our facilities will have more modern offices, as well as meeting rooms and facilities for employees.”
