Robatech has confirmed it has a busy few months ahead, with participation confirmed for both SuperCorrExpo in Orlando, FL and FACHPACK in Nuremberg, Germany.
At SuperCorrExpo® from September 8 to 12, Robatech will be presenting PerfectFold, a new system that makes folding corrugated boxes more efficient and precise. Other highlights include adhesive application systems for silicone release liners and tear strips in the e-commerce sector as well as Robatech’s flagship, the Vision adhesive melter for maximum precision and reliability.
The PerfectFold liquid creaser (pictured below), that visitors can experience live at SuperCorrExpo®, applies a creaser liquid to the fold lines of corrugated cartons so that the blanks can be folded precisely and with little effort. Cracking of the board, irregular gaps and fishtailing are now history. Corrugated cartons creased with PerfectFold provide exact internal dimensions so that inserts can be fitted into folding cartons without any problems. Robatech uses the proven Sempre 30 application heads to apply the liquid. The SpeedUp creaser liquid, which leaves no marks on the corrugated cardboard, was especially developed for PerfectFold.
Another attraction at the Robatech booth is the Vivo 18 electrical application head, especially designed for e-commerce. The space-saving Vivo 18 hot melt coating head is characterised by its even, precise adhesive application, which is predestined to flexibly apply silicone release liners or tear strips to e-commerce shipping packaging.
Last but not least, the Vision adhesive melter is Robatech’s flagship product that stands for maximum process reliability and precision when gluing primary and secondary packaging. The energy-efficient melter reliably keeps the adhesive viscosity constant and ensures a stable adhesive pressure. Operation is easy and safe. A glance at the SmartTerminal is all it takes to get all operating status information.
From September 24 to 26, 2024, Robatech is presenting its adhesive application system for maximum precision and reliability at FACHPACK. But also the new, small melter for simple applications with low adhesive consumption promises good application quality. Additionally, Robatech is demonstrating live on the booth how easy precise folding is.
The Vision adhesive melter in combination with the Performa heated hose and the Volta electric application head is Robatech’s flagship product and stands for maximum process reliability and precision when gluing primary and secondary packaging. The energy-efficient melter reliably keeps the adhesive viscosity constant and ensures a stable adhesive pressure. The fully insulated Performa heated hose conveys the adhesive to the application head with as little heat loss as possible. And finally, the Volta electric jetting head applies the adhesive with pinpoint precision – thanks to the high switching frequencies, it is also suitable for hot melt stitching.
For simple applications with an adhesive requirement of up to 2.5 kg/h, the small Easy adhesive melter, which forms the EasyLine together with the Rio heated hose and the Twist application head, is sufficient. The functionalities of this new melter are limited to the necessary minimum, but no expense has been spared on clever details for easy installation and quick maintenance. Despite its simplicity and attractive price/performance ratio, the Easy melter delivers adhesive application quality in the usual Robatech quality.
