Brohl Wellpappe, based out of Mayen, will become the first company in Germany to add a Barberan Jetmaster single pass high speed digital press to their existing print technologies. Brohl Wellpappe, a family owned business with four production sites in Germany and a long history in the industry, confirmed the purchase at the beginning of 2019. The German packaging print specialist produces high-quality packaging and displays using flexo pre- and post-print, litho offset and litho laminating — and now digital.
The single pass Jetmaster is a six colour machine, achieving an excellent print quality at a maximum speed of 80m per min. It enables users to print short, medium and long runs at competitive costs. Improving time to market and adding variety possibilities in design and variable data are going to be new tools for Brohl Wellpappe.
Barberán has now confirmed that following this installation, they will have six machines in Europe and twenty-one worldwide.
