UK-based sheet feeder, Board 24, has enhanced its materials handling line at its Coalville site. The investment of £600,000 in new equipment forms part of the company’s ongoing business expansion plans and growth ambitions. The installation will increase site automation, improve throughput of pallets, reduce downtime and keep up with the performance of the casemakers being run at the site. The materials handling line includes a new Dücker pallet inserter and Signode strapper. A Haloila Octopus automatic rotary ring stretch wrapper has also been installed to maximise productivity.
