Blackline for Tupac AB

After 27 years in business, Tupac AB has now invested to allow for further growth over the coming years. Founded in 1990 in Åby, just outside Norrköping in Sweden, the company focusses on the production of corrugated displays, POS and packaging in a 4000sqm factory.

In late March, Tupac installed a new Lamina Blackline 1620 litho laminator. The machine enables them to become more competitive in the production of larger volumes, both in displays and packaging. This investment also means that Tupac is now one of the only companies in Sweden that can offer all three large format printing methods for displays and packaging in-house.

“Over the last five years or so, Tupac has gone from working with smaller brands to working with the leading brands of Sweden,” says Lars Månsson, Managing Director. “This has meant we have had to adapt to the increasing demand without losing flexibility in production. The decision to invest in this new litho laminator has been made because of the increasing demand from customers for longer runs and more high quality printing.”
