At the end of September, BHS Corrugated held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new logistics park in the Weiherhammer industrial park. On the site not far from the company’s headquarter, a production hall with a floor area of 26,500 sqm and an administration building will be constructed by March 2023. During planning, special attention was paid to ecological and sustainable aspects.
The new logistics park not only offers development opportunities for the region, but also for the company’s customers. The logistics park will enable BHS Corrugated to coordinate its internal logistics even better and offer customers more innovative logistics solutions.
“This is another important milestone in our mission to significantly increase the productivity of our customers’ corrugated plants and boost their profitability,” said Lars Engel, Managing Director. “But it is not only our customers who will benefit from this project. We are investing in the future of BHS Corrugated and in our headquarter in Weiherhammer. Future-proof jobs will be created in a new and innovative working environment, in which we will above all also utilise and apply the know-how of our long-standing employees.”
