The U.S.-based manufacturer, Baysek Machines, has confirmed it recently installed a C-170 die-cutter at Mayer Kartonagen in Haiterbach, Germany. The new machine, which was installed in December 2020 shortly before Christmas, was commissioned in a new converting hall that Mayer had finished building in 2019.
“Specialising in the production of individual die-cut packaging and tray inserts, our company is flexible enough to handle large or small runs,” says Katja Mayer. “Having visited Baysek at CCE International a few years ago, we decided to look at their C-170 die-cutter for our own business, as we looked to increase our die-cutting capacity.”
Baysek’s large 1400mm x 1700mm format (55” x 67”), multiple-out, C-170 die-cutter is an ideal selection for the type of packaging Mayer manufactures. The die-cutter supports large and small runs of simple to intricate design with quick turnarounds that will assist Mayer with the ideas and solutions for efficient, space-saving, practical, fast, and environmentally friendly packaging they offer.
