Bay Cities, a Pico Rivera, California, manufacturer of point-of-purchase displays, industrial and retail packaging, and in-store signage, has purchased the Young Shin Zenith 210 Plus high-speed flatbed diecutter. With advanced computerized features, the machine has the ability to save approximately 15 to 20 minutes of production time per job. This will allow Bay Cities to improve overall customer service by decreasing production lead time.
The new diecutter has the capability to run single and doublewall corrugated, litho label and singleface laminated board, foam core, plastic, and much more. Producing 5,000 sheets per hour, the Zenith 210 PLUS is the most productive, large format diecutter that Bay Cities has owned to date, the company reports.
“For the past 60 years, we have made a conscientious effort to provide our clients with the best service in the industry. The Young Shin Zenith 210 Plus will allow us to not only improve upon, but to increase the range of services that we offer our clients,” Brett Kirkpatrick, Bay Cities Chief Operating Officer, says.
