Phillip Mack, National Sales Manager of Young Shin USA Limited, has confirmed that Batavia, Illinois-based Batavia Container, Inc. (BCI), will add a new Young Shin Zenith 210 Plus die-cutter to its growing production hall. Established as a family business in 1961, BCI provides creative, quality solutions to solve packaging challenges, partnering with its customer to develop the best packaging solutions in a cost-effective manner.
BCI has secured the Zenith 210 Plus die-cutter that will be showcased at this year’s SuperCorrExpo. Following an extensive market evaluation of die-cutters, the Young Shin high-speed flatbed Zenith 210 Plus was selected due to its performance, quality and reliability and wide range of applications. BCI will gain productivity enhancements while offering an increased range of customer requirements utilizing the large format capacity of the Zenith 210 Plus. The die-cutter can accommodate single and doublewall corrugated; microflute; litho label and single-face laminated board; foam core; plastic corrugated and paperboard down to .060 point. It features an automatic gripper system to handle sheets up to a maximum thickness of .433” and has the ability to run 5,000 sheets per hour at a maximum sheet size of 82.50” x 59.05”.
The Young Shin Zenith 210 Plus is designed and manufactured in South Korea with specific performance attributes that include automated set-up, die compatibility with existing European-made equipment and low cost of ownership.
