U.S. based Thoro Packaging has joined Autajon’s Packaging Division. Headquartered in Corona, California near Los Angeles, Thoro Packaging is a leading producer of custom folding cartons for the cosmetics, pharmaceutical and medical laboratories markets.
The acquisition expands Autajon Group’s presence in the U.S., providing an additional opening in the American market for medical packaging, which is already served by Autajon Packaging Boston.
With 175 employees, Thoro generated sales of $37 million in 2017. Janet Steiner, President of Thoro, will remain the head of the company.
Mesirow Financial acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Thoro Packaging on its sale to Autajon Group.
