The American Forest & Paper Association released the February 2017 Containerboard Monthly (CB3) report on 16th March. Containerboard production was 0.7 per cent higher compared to February 2016. The month-over-month average daily production compared to January 2017 was 0.5 per cent lower. The containerboard operating rate for February increased from 96.5 per cent to 97.8 per cent, which was 4.0 per cent higher compared to February of last year.
