The American Forest & Paper Association released its August 2018 U.S. Boxboard Report on September 17, 2018. Total boxboard production decreased 0.9% when compared to August 2017 and decreased 1.4% from last month. Unbleached Kraft Boxboard production increased over the same month a year ago and increased compared to last month. Total Solid Bleached Boxboard & Liner production decreased when compared to August 2017 and decreased compared to last month. The production of Recycled Boxboard decreased compared to August 2017 and decreased when compared to last month.
