UK-based Perrys Recycling have recently installed a new Lindner Micromat 2000 at their Marston Magna depot near Yeovil. The investment was made as a result of increasing demands for security shredding of confidential paper records, in conjunction with General Data Protection Act Regulations and Industry best practice standards BSEN15713, to shred material in shorter time frames and potentially to different shred sizes.
The company remains a family-owned business led by Chris Perry (Managing Director) Samantha Perry (Sales Director), Matthew Perry (Transport Director), Ian Cook (Strategic Business Development Director) and Nick Perry (Production Director). They operate four shredding and recycling depots strategically placed across the South West. With national customers serviced through ‘The Shredding Alliance Ltd’, they provide national coverage 24with regional service.
“It’s important to be able to process secure documents in accordance with all industry standards,” explains Nick Perry. “The Lindner Micromat 2000 offers some of the best throughputs while maintaining a consistent homogenous fraction size with random shred technology – with the Micromats modular screen panel change this takes only moments.”
The Lindner Micromat replaced Allegheny and Meltog equipment that had served well over the years, but could no longer keep up with their increasing demands.

The purchase of their new Micromat 2000 was just a logical step forward.
