UK based Plastic, Paper & Board Ltd is very confident about its future growth and expansion in the UK and so work has just begun to move into a specifically converted warehouse and office premises at Cross Green in the north east of Leeds. The unit extends to 61,000 sq. ft. and has up to 4,000 pallet spaces to store paper based products along with its new industrial plastics and Westland digital display portfolio. The final move is planned to be completed over the Christmas period when PPB’s in-house state of the art sheeting and re-rewinding equipment plus saw and guillotine will be relocated to the new site.
This investment comes just a year after PPB invested in a specially designed new warehouse and office premises in London to fully service London and the Home Counties in which they took up occupation in September 2015. There will continue to be very close stock management between London and Leeds with same day delivery available as well as an out of hour’s delivery service if required, with larger accounts often benefitting from 2-3 deliveries per day.
Richard Proctor, Managing Director for PPB said, “This investment is part of our ongoing strategy to provide the widest range of plastic, paper and board display materials and finishing services for the screen print and digital display markets.”
