Germany-based machine manufacturer KAMA is expanding its sales activities in the Far East, having appointed Job van Hasselt as its Area Manager for South-East Asia, Pacific and Japan. Mr Van Hasselt has 30 years of experience in the printing business, in particular in Asian markets, as he filled Senior Management positions with Bobst and manroland, to name just a few. Based in Malaysia, he will support KAMA’s distribution partners, (P.M. Trading in Korea, Heidelberg Japan K.K., Sinar Grafindo in Indonesia and Ferrostaal in Thailand).
“The Asian markets show a highly dynamic development, and embellishing with hot foil stamping and hologram is very much in demand,” says Mr van Hasselt. “Having this in mind, KAMA’s modular solutions offer great flexibility and excellent opportunities for adding more value in post-press processing and finishing. This is the decisive ‘step ahead of the competition’. The potential is still not known enough in the region.”
