Marbach has launched a solution that it says allows clean visible edges for attractive corrugated packaging. Launched at drupa in May, ‘pure edge’ technology is now already in use by numerous customers.
Marketing Manager, Tina Dost, says, “Packaging at the point of sale helps convince the buyer thanks to its appearance. For a special buying experience, we have developed our ‘pure edge’ technology. The rubber along the cutting rule is replaced by steel presser; this means various benefits for our customers. It is more hygienic thanks to less die-cutting dust. It also allows for less tensile force in the board, therefore reducing the size and number of nicks. In addition, ‘pure edge’ can be used in very tight areas, making it more effective than conventional effect rubber.”
Dost concludes, “This new product means visibly flawless packaging for our customers, as well as highest machine performance. This is a must, when you attach importance to perfect packaging appearance at the point of sale.”
