The American Forest & Paper Association released its November 2016 U.S. Containerboard Statistics Report on 15th December. Containerboard production was 3.8 per cent higher compared to November 2015. The month-over-month average daily production compared to October 2016 was 3 per cent higher. The containerboard operating rate for November increased to 96.4 per cent, while the year-to-date operating rate was 0.5 per cent lower compared to year-to-date 2015
