Green Bay Packaging (GBP) Fort Worth Division in Texas announced that it reached a safety milestone of one million man hours worked with zero recordable injuries.

We owe it to our employees to have a culture of Safety. Our Fort Worth division is the model for this culture,” Bryan Hollenbach, Executive Vice President for Green Bay Packaging stated.

The Fort Worth Division has dedicated significant resources to continuously improving its safety processes. “This has yielded very positive results,” said Peter Masias, Corporate Director of Safety and Risk Management. “Because safety is such a visible part of our everyday operations, employees feel empowered to identify and report potential hazards at first notice. Management reviews all suggestions and, as a result, employees readily share safety ideas. The bonus is that, while mitigating risks, suggestions also serve to improve productivity, quality and efficiency.”
