Fosber have recently signed a contract with V.G.K. for the supply of a C/Line complete corrugator. Launched in 2017, this new corrugator, which is available in either 2.5m or 2.8m configuration, is a state-of-the-art machine concept, with a maximum speed of 300m per min. V.G.K. has opted for the 2.8m version.
V.G.K. is a part of the Zani Group, owned by Mario Zani. The Group operates two sheet plants and one board plant with a Fosber 2.5m corrugator. As part of its strategy for growth, the Group is creating a new factory, where the Fosber C/Line will be installed. The new site is in Vercelli, about one hour south-east of Milan and the aim is for the C/Line to supply board to the other sheet plants, ensuring the continuing growth of the company. Fosber expects to install the corrugator during May and June, with start-up expected in mid-June.
“This is the beginning of a new era for Fosber, as we launch a complete corrugator that is suitable for mid-sized companies,” explains Massimo Palombo, Sales Director at Fosber. “We are delighted to confirm this first order with V.G.K., who are an existing and loyal customer. They have placed their faith in us, as a trusted partner and we are excited about working with them to ensure a smooth start up and efficient roll out.”
