Giovanni Bettini, Sales & Marketing Director of MHI Europe, has confirmed the company has received a multiple machine order from the VPK Group. One of Europe’s leading paper and packaging groups, VPK has placed an order for two EVOL flexo folder gluers.
The order includes one EVOL 100, to be installed at one of the Benelux plants, and one EVOL 115, to complement the ongoing investments in the Scandinavian business unit. With this order, the total number of EVOL that will be running within the VPK Group will be five.
The EVOL 115 is the larger format machine in the range. It has a minimum sheet size of 290 x 690mm and a maximum size of 1150 x 2930mm. This will be the third EVOL 115 to be installed in Europe since its launch in 2017.
“Receiving the multiple machine order from VPK Group is testament to the quality of our equipment, especially as they have significant experience with the EVOL at existing sites already,” says Bettini. “VPK are an exceptional company, with excellent operators and we are looking forward to installing the new converting machines at their sites in Scandinavia and Europe.”
