David Williams, Managing Director of GTS (Europe) Ltd, confirms that sales of speciality gluers has been strong over the last few months. GTS, who are the UK and Ireland sales agent for Italian manufacturer Vega, have confirmed no fewer than four orders in the last few months.
“It has been a really active period for sales of the Altair gluer, specifically for corrugated boxes,” confirms Williams. “We have taken orders for two machines for independent plants in the UK and two machines for companies in Ireland. The four machines will be installed at the various plants in the UK and Ireland over the coming months and re-affirms Vega’s position as a world class supplier of speciality gluers for the corrugated industry.”
