Germany-based Marbach will soon start its joint venture Marbach Masterwork (Tianjin) Cutting Tools Co Ltd. in China. Production includes cutting-dies, stripping and blanking tools for the Chinese tobacco and folding carton industry.
Dominic Fischer, Customer Service Manager of the new facility in China explains, “After signing the contract in December 2017, we immediately started to implement our plans for buildings, equipping the building with production facilities and employee training. We are proud that we have been able to achieve everything in such a short time – we start production in Tianjin in July. We will start with a relatively small team in production and administration and then gradually expand the site.”
