Boxes and Packaging (Doncaster) has fought off stiff competition to be the overall winner in the Supply Chain category at the Inside Media ‘Made in the UK’ business awards. The awards dinner, held at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool, brought together the regional winners from each category to crown the overall winner in each.
“This is a superb achievement for the Doncaster team and for the staff who manage the initiative of the ‘inplant’ at our customers site in West Yorkshire,” said Stuart Clarke Managing Director Boxes and Packaging (Doncaster). “Innovation is at the heart of what we do and this solution has delivered significant benefits for our customer in terms of cost, time and warehouse efficiencies, improving service levels and building a strong partnership that supports distribution across the globe.”
Judges praised the entry from Boxes and Packaging (Doncaster) saying, “In a diverse category, Boxes and Packaging came out on top. The judges were impressed by the entry which showed measurable improvements. The business has transitioned and streamlined operations in order to meet customer demands.”
Businesses from across the UK were in attendance to celebrate the best of British manufacturing and the impact they have in all areas including employment, innovation and overall business success.
