drupa has confirmed the launch of the ‘touchpoint packaging‘ initiative for drupa 2020, taking place from 16th–26th June, 2020. The ambitions of touchpoint packaging are to provide insights into packaging design and production, based on consumer needs and use, as well as display the latest solutions and applications and show how future packaging and design will deliver additional value, stimuli and growth opportunities.
“Bobst is keen to be an active contributor to the project,” said Jean-Pascal Bobst, CEO. “We believe that the role of packaging is evolving, the way brands design, pack and distribute products is changing.”
Showcasing the trends of packaging will help converters to visualise the directions packaging production are taking. “Bobst will provide innovative and concrete samples from idea to finish, working in close cooperation with packaging designers and students to implement these innovations,” confirmed Mr Bobst.
