More paper on the horizon from Palm

It has been reported that Papierfabrik Palm in Germany is set to consolidate its paper production at its Aalen mill, by replacing three machines with one new machine. The new machine will produce recycled corrugated casemaking papers and is part of an expansion project that will run from 2020 to 2022.

The Aalen mill is Palm’s headquarters and the three existing machines produce 90,000 tonnes of newsprint as well as 260,000 tonnes of corrugated papers. It is expected that production on the three machines will continue until the new paper machine is ready to come on line.
