Pro Carton and ECMA have recently revealed the finalists for the European Carton Excellence Award 2018, with six out of 36 finalists produced from Metsä Board’s paperboards. Each of these finalist cartons were submitted by Metsä Board customers into the following categories: Frozen & Chilled Foods, Fast/Convenience Foods, Dry Foods & Beverages, Confectionery, Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals and Non-Food.

Public voting closes on 16th September and the winners will be announced at the Award Gala in Riga, Latvia on 20th September. The European Carton Excellence Awards attract hundreds of entries, with the jury looking for excellence in design, convenience, brand communication and the major role cartonboard plays as a sustainable packaging material.
