Bobst UK & Ireland is organising an assault course fun day to help raise money for the rehabilitation of injured service men and women. For the second consecutive year, the company is encouraging those involved with the print and packaging industry to get involved with the charity event to support the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre based at Headley Court (DMRC).
Neil Jones, Managing Director of Bobst UK & Ireland, said, “Headley Court is about giving serving and retired soldiers the best possible treatment they rightly deserve. The centre helps them to get back into social situations, as in most cases it will be their first time being out in public since they were injured. Due to the success of our 2017 event, we were keen on hosting another, to continue our support to those in need. At Bobst, we are proud to raise money for Headley Court and those who are transitioning back into civilian life.”
Headley Court provides a range of rehabilitation services for injured service personnel. From outpatients through residential courses for those with sports, exercise and industrial injuries to those with complex life changing trauma injuries including amputation and brain injury, the centre provides much needed help and support to those injured when serving their country.
Bobst is once again sponsoring the event and will be donating the entry fee of all participants. In return, they are requesting people raise as much as possible. Used by the Army Reserves, the fundraising day will take place at Chetwynd Barracks, Chilwell, Nottingham, on Saturday, 29th September 2018. All sponsorship raised will go 100% to the DMRC.
