It is with great sadness that we record the death of John Cutts on 26th of August at the age of 79. A former President of the UK based Independent Waste Paper Processors Association (now the Recycling Association) and the British Waste Paper Association, he developed his paper recycling business in Yorkshire.
He started the company, Cutts Bros, with his brother Patrick in Doncaster and went on to develop further premises in Sheffield. The business grew and became a major supplier of OCC to the domestic market and later expanded into overseas markets.
In 2011 Cutts Bros was acquired by Spain’s SAICA to become a feeder company to its newly-established mill at Partington, Manchester.
