There has been plenty going on at ID Machinery, the Milton Keynes, UK-based machinery sales and service agency. With recent appointments, extension to its manufacturing plant in Portugal and a new agency in its portfolio, the company is going from strength to strength.
Having had a facility in Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal for some time now, the company has completed a significant factory extension. Offering not only additional space for the cleaning, retrofitting and upgrading of used flexo converting lines, the extension now gives the company space to assemble equipment under licence from Hongjing in China. “Having won the agency agreement to sell Hongjing equipment in the Benelux, Spain, North Africa and India, we now work directly with the manufacturer to assemble the company’s gluers prior to delivery to customers in the specified territories,” says Henrique Rodrigues, General Manager of ID Machinery in Portugal.
With the addition of the new machinery agency for Hongjing, the company recently appointed a new sales and e-marketing representative, Chloe Brasier. Her role is to coordinate sales leads and enquiries, as well as handling the company’s PR and marketing for the entire portfolio of products.
