Pico Rivera, CA-based Bay Cities has been awarded gold for the Best POP Display at the 2019 Promax Games Awards held at The Village in San Francisco on April 17th. The Fortnite Battle Bus display was recognized for the creative structural and graphics design.
The Fortnite Battle Bus was developed and executed to hold toys, games, game cards, apparel and Funko collectors’ items. The structure reflected the Battle Bus vehicle featured in the Fortnite game. This POP display was a multi-brand collaboration and hit Walmart stores nationwide in time for an in-store event called the Fortnite Party where customers could receive an exclusive, free in-game code.
PromaxGames Awards honors the gaming industry’s top marketing and design execution. Bay Cities utilized the branding and art direction of Fornite to develop the award winning POP display.
