Neil Clarke of Recycling UK Ltd writes, “I have just received the very sad news that Roger Floyd passed away over the August Bank Holiday weekend. After working for St Regis and Severnside Recycling for a number of years during the 1980s and early 1990s, Roger joined me at Interport Paper Group (c1993) and then worked for me at UK Waste (now Biffa) when we sold out in late 1995. I left in June 1998 to start Recycling UK Ltd and Roger joined me again in 2002 as Commercial Manager before leaving in late 2006 to run his own company. He also worked at Pearsons Recycling Thetford for a few years before spells of ill health took their toll. Roger was really well liked and respected in the industry and will be sadly missed by so many.”
