Fyne Packaging of Leighton Buzzard are on a good run, following a string of sales over the last few months.
The equipment they produce include the LANCASTER one-pass boxmaker, which relies on pneumatic power for high speed and reliable corrugated case production. It slots and creases in one pass to produce accurate boxes, while set-up is achieved in few minutes, which makes the machine ideal for shorter runs of boxes. A choice of board from E-flute to heavy-duty AA doublewall, can be converted, while small wraps to large pallet boxes are easily made.
East London Packaging Supplies Ltd ordered a LANCASTER to upgrade their production. Suppliers of short to medium runs of corrugated cases for 27 years from Basildon in Essex, they needed a machine to produce high quality boxes quickly and easily. They asked for the controls to be located on the machine to suit their particular operating requirements, and for the machine to be supplied in their blue house colour. Delivery was on time and quick, with installation and training being finished the next day.
In the meantime, Makkipak Ltd who supply custom boxes to the Northampton area, chose the LANCASTER because of its versatility and known reliability. It met all their criteria and was delivered and installed in record time.
To complete the recent run of success, Bristol-based Dynamic Packaging Ltd have ordered the HARRIER which is a two-pass boxmaker designed for the supply of large cases and packs in small quantities. Dynamic Packaging manufacture transit and storage packaging, with an emphasis on the aerospace and defence industries where accuracy and reliability are key.
