Lamina System have installed the latest Packline SA at Image Data Group based in Howden, UK.
The machine is a newly designed hot melt packing line for gluing flat collated corrugated packs (FEFCO 402) up to 50mm thick, running at up to 300 pieces per hr.
This finishing process is traditionally carried out by many out-workers using hand-held tape guns or strapping but now it will be glued with huge labour savings. The Packline’s USP is that due to the design and construction, it is set-up free. Options include an inkjet print head for pack identification and Lamina 4.0 for remote access and management information.
