Successful start-up for Penha in Brazil with latest EVOL

Giacomo Bettini, Senior Sales Representative, MHI EMEA and South America, has confirmed that the company recently started up a new EVOL 4FGR-100 with dual slotter unit (DSL) for Penha in Brazil. The machine was commissioned at the end of June.

“The installation was completed on schedule, thanks to the joint collaboration of Penha’s specialists, MHIMS engineers from Japan and MHI EMEA engineers working together,” said Bettini. “The customer, who already has a Mitsubishi corrugator and two EVOLs, was excited to take delivery of the third EVOL.”

This new line is the third EVOL at Penha – interestingly, it will be the second of the machines featuring the DSL unit. Bettini continues, “Penha are looking forward to the great levels of performance on the new EVOL with DSL unit, which will give them an opportunity not only to double their production, but also allow them to run small boxes of miniline format.”

Penha said that they appreciated the diligent and professional work from the MHI team to ensure a smooth installation and commissioning of the line. Bettini concludes, “We would like to thank Penha’s team and the company’s top management for all the hard work and support provided during implementation of the project, and all the trust they have in MHI. Brazil is an important market for MHI and we have many corrugator and EVOL projects in the region, as corrugated packaging manufacturers continue to appreciate the high quality, reliability, long lifetime and high performance of our equipment.”

MHI will be present at SuperCorrExpo, where they can be found on booth 2357.
