At the beginning of June, the Polish company Cavec delivered and installed its largest and most modern Maxi Box 280 machine at the Smurfit Westrock plant in Whittlesey near Peterborough, UK.

This resulted in the modernisation of the machinery fleet by replacing the old boxmaker used to date, with a modern solution that meets the requirements of Industry 4.0. The new machine will significantly contribute to increasing the quality and processing capacity of the plant, thus increasing the competitive advantage. Delivery came six months after the contract was signed.
