Heinzel to close Raubling mill by end of year

It has been reported that Heinzel is set to cease paper production at it’s Raubling containerboard mill by the end of this year.

Located in the town of Raubling, south-east of Munich, the paper mill employs a little under 200 people and produces around 240,000 tonnes of containerboard grades per year from two machines.

According to reports, an agreement has now been reached with the works council. As a result, the company is now starting to wind up operations and preparing to sell the paper machines.
