Cascades Inc. is reported to be shutting two facilities in eastern Ontario, Canada.
The company permanently idled its mill in Trenton recently and a converting plant in Belleville will be closed by the end of May this year. The two sites employed over 230 people.
Another location in Connecticut will also be shuttered, bringing the total number of affected jobs to 310, according to a media release from Cascades.
