Swanline has confirmed the retirement of its CEO, Nick Kirby.
After 23 years dedicated to Swanline, he is now looking forward to spending more time with his family, and enjoying some well-deserved rest.
Starting his packaging journey at Kirby Carton’s 43 years ago, Kirby’s career has been full of inspiration and leadership. Known for his vibrant energy, forward-thinking, and unwavering optimism, he has been instrumental in shaping Swanline into what it is today.
“As Nick transitions to retirement, we’re not just celebrating his monumental contributions but also expressing our deepest gratitude for his leadership and guidance over the years,” said the company in a statement. “There is not one person at Swanline that hasn’t been touched by his wisdom and kindness in one way or another. While officially retiring at the end of February 2024, Nick’s journey will be continuing at Zeus. We’re thrilled to announce his new chapter as a Non-Executive Director at Zeus Group, where he’ll continue to lend his strategic genius and industry insights.”
